THE Secretariat 

Yaswant Adiraju is a mechanical engineering student from CBIT, Hyderabad. He has been MUNning ever since he was at school. Doing close to 20 MUNs, he believes that debate, research and demeanour are the prime factors that determine an individual's diplomacy skills. He has enjoyed being a delegate (of the United States most of the time), an executive board member (including the one at Harvard MUN India'12) and as a Secretariat member (Under Secretary General at CBITMUN) . He wishes to bring this wealth of experience and turn his ambition of taking this country's diplomacy quotient to reach the zenith. He keeps a keen interest in playing cricket, playing Tabla, a little bit of music composing and writing lyrics. What keeps him going for a variety of projects every now and then is his self-confidence and an interest in learning.

Pradip is an Electronics and Communication engineer from MIT,Manipal. He further did his graduation in Economic Reasoning and Public Policy from Takshashila Institution ,Bangalore. A parliamentary debater in his school days ,he started MUNning while at college. Done around 15 MUNs successfully and has featured in national dailies like the 'Naidunia' ,'Patrika', for his achievements.He believes research,foreign policy knowledge ,effective lobbying and drafting skills are essential qualities that make a good diplomat. Apart from this he is the head of the youth wing of the state level NGO -Thallasemia and Child Welfare Group MP .He is  trained actor and represented Indore district in National cricket competitions.He hopes to work towards realising the 'Great Indian Dream ' of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam .

Shreshta is a recent graduate of Indus International School, Bangalore and will begin his undergraduates studies at the University of Pennsylvania where he will major in economics with a concentration in finance, international studies and Japanese. Having grown up across 3 countries (India, France and Japan), he has developed a deep interest in economics and international relations. He has attended many conferences as a delegate and member of the executive board. He is also a Media Associate for Best Delegate, a company that specializes in Model UN training, consulting, and conference publications. He describes participation in Model UN as one of his turning points in life, and hopes to continue participating at the college level. He is particularly enthusiastic about crisis committees, but enjoys any other type of committee. Outside of Model UN, he is involved in cross-country, drama and dance.

Shouryadipta Sarkar, is a 2nd year Electronics and Communication Engineering student currently studying at RVCE, Bangalore. He started MUNning since his high school and re started it in college after a 2 year break. Having done 12 MUNs with 10 Awards primarily from core UN committees like the UNSC and the UNGA he is an upcoming MUNer in the South Circuit. His favorite committee is the UNSC and he strongly believes that good oratory and lobbying backed up by detailed research  is the key to winning at MUNs. He initially started out being a delegate of USA, then off late has crossed the Iron Curtain to becoming a regularly successful delegate of the Russian Federation. Shourya has also been a national level quizzer in his school days and is an avid reader of genres ranging from political thrillers to satire. On board the team of THEMUN his primary focus has been to provide participants with an unparalleled quality of debate. He sincerely looks forward to bring back most aspects of Old School MUNs into THEMUN 2013
